Hirens merupakan sebuah software yang berisi berbagai macam tools yang berguna untuk memperbaiki komputer anda. Seringkali pengguna windows mengalami banyak trouble dengan komputer mereka, mulai dari serangan virus dan malware yang sangat berbahaya, sistem yang corrupt, dan error pada saat bootig. Hal itu sering kaliterjadi dan membuat user bingung.
Hirens memberi solusi, hirens bisa digunakan dalam berbagai cara diantaranya adalah dengan menggunakan live cd. ive cd merupakan cd yang jika dimasukkan di komputer maka pada saat booting akan langsung booting menggunakan iso yang terdapat di dalam cd (harus masuk ke bios dulu dan diaktifkan boot via dvd/cd). Dengan live cd/dvd ini sangat membantu dalam mengatasi virus bandel, maupun gagal login pada saat pertama booting (black screen).
Hirens berisi 2 macam operating sistem, yaitu mini xp dan juga mini linux. Mini xp dan linux bisa digunakan untuk mempartisi partisi yang tidak dapat diformat ketika instalasi windows. Dengan mini cd melalui partition manager, semuanya akan menjadi mudah. Begitu juga dengan mini linux, kita cukup masuk ke terminal (ctr+alt+t) lalu ketik gparted. Kemudian partisi yangperlu dipartisi ulang untuk memudahkan instalasi windows.
Hirens merupakan live cd/dvd yang sangat ringan seperti halnya dengan safe mode, ketika masuk di hirrens (mini xp) kita dapat menginstal antivirus yang menggunakan extensi .exe untuk membunuh virus virus yang bandel. Hirens juga bisa digunakan untuk membackup data data yang ada di drive selain drive c. Anda bisa menggunakan usn flashdisk maupun hardisk external untuk menyalin semua data data penting yang masih ada di dalam komputer anda sebelum melakukan instal ulang.
Hirens digunakan untuk memperbaiki hardisk yang corrupt. Pada saat booting pertama menggunakan hirrens, tinggal masuk ke menu fixs mbr dan semuanya menjadi normal lagi. Hardisk yang corrupt masih bisa diselamatkan dengan menggunakan hirens ini. Tidak ada salahnya untuk mencobanya.
