Setelah sebelumnya samsung secara resmi mengumumkan chipset terbarunya, kali ini tersiar kabar jika chipset Exynos 8890 akan digunakan pada flangship andalan mereka yakni Galaxy S7.
Seperti diketahui pada Exynos 8890 membawa peningkatan dari generasi sebelumnya Exynos 7420, seperti arsitektur baru dengan peningkatan mencapai 30%, selain itu chipset Exynos 8890 juga dilengkapi dengan GPU mali-T880 dengan support 4K yang menjanjikan tampilan display lebih memukau.
Pada handset Galaxy S7 juga dipastikan memiliki kualitas layar dengan resolusi 4K, seperti halnya Sony Xperia Z5 premium, Nantinya galaxy S7 akan memiliki beberapa versi layaknya Galaxy S6, pada beberapa negara juga dikabarkan akan menggunakan chipset yang berbeda seperti pasar Amerika Galaxy S7 akan menggunakan Chipset snapdragon 820.
