How to Fix Canon Pixma iP2770 error 5B00
Canon Pixma iP2770 error code 5B00 mean the waste ink counter reset (yellow and orange light, flashing alternately 7 times).
Solution for this problem is reset printer.
How to reset Canon Pixma iP2770 eror 5B00, follow instruction bellow;
1. Turn off printer
2. Press and hold RESET button

3. Press and hold POWER button.
4. Released RESET button, POWER still pressed
5. Press and released RESET button 5 times
6. Released POWER button
Now, printer on SERVICE MODE condition. In this condition, computer detect found new hardware.
7. When computer detect FOUND NEW HARDWARE, wait about 20 seconds and press CANCEL

10. Load paper = 1 sheet
11. Clear Ink Counter - SET - OK
Wait, the printer will print D=000.0
12. Ink Absorber Counter - SET - OK
13. Reset iP2770 is done, now turn off printer.

14. Turn on printer and try to print

15. When try to print, show up error message "The following ink may have run out",
press and hold RESET button 7 seconds, then released them.

1. Turn off printer
2. Make printer on service mode condition
- Press and hold Stop/Reset button

- Release Stop/Reset button (Power button, still pressed)

If show this message "Found New Hardware Wizard", click CANCEL

3. Open software Resetter Canon Pixma MP258.
Download Resetter Canon Pixma MP258
4. Set Destination
- Region : select region. Example; ASA for Asia
- Click : SET - OK

5. Load paper
6. Click MAIN, wait for the moment. The printer will print D=000.0



8. If you want to print EEPROM data, click EEPROM

10. Turn on printer and try to print document. When try to print, show message E13 (The following ink may have run out color/black).

11. To fix E13 on Canon Pixma MP258, press and hold STOP/RESET button 5 seconds. Finish

How to Fix Canon iP4500 error 5B00 or 5B01
Error 5B00 or 5B01 on iP4500 mean ink absorber full (cycle of blinking in orange and green 7 times). Solution for this problem is reset printer. Before reset printer. Turn off printer, and make printer on Service Mode condition.

Service mode operation procedures
- With the printer power turned off, while pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press and hold the
Power button. (DO NOT release the buttons). The Power LED lights in green to indicate that a
function is selectable. - While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (DO NOT release the Power
button.) - While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 2 times, and then release both
the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the
Alarm and Power LEDs light alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm
LED.) - When the Power LED lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the specified number of time(s) according to the function listed in the table below. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is
