How to configure your business E mail account on Microsoft Outlook Outlook Express or on your Android Phone
How to configure your business E mail account on Microsoft Outlook Outlook Express or on your Android Phone
Welcome Back!, I am here again with a new topic on How to configure your Email client software like Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express for your business or personal email(i.e Gmail).I still remember the days when I was working as a Technical support Officer with one of the reputed U.S based MNC.And I used to get calls related to Email issues which would be so much frustrating for the Clients because for some of them 50% of their whole business was dependent on their business or personal email.
So Lets start with How to configure the Email Client software to send and receive email on your desktop. Before we start I would like to tell you that there are numerous Email client Software available in the market, Some of the famous are Mozilla Thunderbird, Opera, Windows Live Mail, Pegasus Mail, IncrediMail, Mulberry , Foxmail, DreamMail, Alpine, MailBird, eM Client, Eudora,Mac Mail, Entourage, Outlook Express,Microsoft Outlook etc.
But Microsoft Outlook,Outlook express and Mac Mail are widely used. No Matter which Email client you are gonna configure, they all have almost the same way to configure like you need to go to the option and select Accounts or go to Tools menu and then Account settings.Once you have reached the account Settings page then you need to know a couple of information to connect the Email client with the Mail server. And those information are for sure User Name and Password for the Email account, then Incoming and Outgoing Mail server, Incoming or POP3 Port and Outgoing or SMTP Port number, and If they require SSL connection. And these information are easily available in the Cpanel of your hosting or Domain administration accounts or in the help Section of the Publicly used Web Mail (Gmail, yahoomail etc.).
Now first of all I am gonna show you how to find the Email account settings for the free hosting provider 000webhost.So login to members area and then go to C panel, then Navigate to Email section and click Manage Email Accounts as shown in the picture 4-(a).

Then its gonna show you a list of all the Email accounts as shown in the picture 4(b) below

| 4-(c) |
As we see here the 000webhost does not provide you with an Outgoing Mail Server with free hosting Account. But you can use your ISP(Internet Service Provider) SMTP server.Call your ISP to know there SMTP Server. Now note Down all the information you have got here and open Microsoft Outlook from All program in start menu as shown in the picture 4(d).

| 4(d) |

| 4(e) |
So Click next and then select Yes then Click Next again as in Picture 4(f).Now you will get Auto Account Setup Screen as shown in the Picture 4(g), Which is normally used for well known famous Email account Like Yahoomail, Gmail, AOL, ATT.NET etc. Where you just Enter the Email ID and password and outlook will search for Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server with port number and Configure itself. But Right now We have to configure our business Email ID (Nasir@simulato.com/Alisha@simulato.com) So Click to check Manually Configure Server Settings or additional Server types and then Click next as in the Picture 4(g).

Differences Between POP and IMAP
I am also showing you the differences in the table below to have a solid knowledge on IMAP and POP.I collected these information.htm and http://help.thunderbird.edu/content/what-difference-between-imap-and-pop-protocol.
IMAP | POP |
The IMAP protocol, by default, allows the user to keep all messages on the server. It constantly synchronizes the e-mail program with the server and displays what messages are currently present. All the actions performed on the messages (reading, moving, deleting...) will be done directly on the server. | The POP protocol, by default, is set to download all the messages from the e-mail server onto your computer. This means that all the actions performed on the messages (reading, moving, deleting...) will be performed on ones computer. Because everything is kept on the users computer, the user will not be able to reopen messages from any location other than the computer where the messages have been downloaded. |
Because everything is kept on the server the user will be able to access the e-mail in the inbox from any computer in the world connected to the Internet and can will always find the same settings in their e-mail account. | Once e-mail is downloaded it can be accessed only using the same computer. |
All messages as well as their attachments will be downloaded into desktop PC during the check new email process. | A whole message will be downloaded only when it is opened for display from its content. |
Mailboxes can only be created on desktop PC. There is only one mailbox (INBOX) exists on the server. | Multiple mailboxes can be created on the desktop PC as well as on the server. |
Filters can transfer incoming/outgoing messages only to local mailboxes. | Filters can transfer incoming/outgoing messages to other mailboxes no matter where the mailboxes locate (on the server or the PC). |
Outgoing email is stored only locally on the desktop PC. | Outgoing email can be filtered to a mailbox on server for accessibility from other machine. |
Messages are deleted on the desktop PC. Comparatively, it is inconvenient to clean up your mailbox on the server. | Messages can be deleted directly on the server to make it more convenient to clean up your mailbox on the server. |
Messages may be reloaded onto desktop PC several times due to the corruption of system files. | The occurrence of reloading messages from the server to PC is much less when compared to POP3. |

How to find your stolen or lost phone
How to find your stolen or lost phone

You are going to Ikeja, you enter bus, someone swap your phone from your pocket, or you sleep you no see phone again, Don't lose hope,Your phone would come back to you, but you have to work a little
#How_To_Trace_it_From_Computer
Theres a good chance youve stumbled across this article after having lost your phone, so instead of telling you what you shouldve done before losing it, lets get right to it: you want to know what to do right now .
The good news is that you can quickly find your missing handset with Googles Android Device Manager, even if you dont have the app installed. Grab your computer (if you dont have your computer, see the next section), connect to the internet, open Chrome, and make sure youre logged in to your Google account (seriously, this part is crucial). Type "Where is my phone" in Chromes omnibox. This will do a search, and Google will automatically load a mini Android Device Manager window inside of the search results. During my testing, I found this little box to be pretty hit and miss in terms of accuracy, so for the sake of finding your phone quickly, go ahead and hit the first link: "Android Device Manager."
This will bring up the Device Manager siteyou may or may not have to log into your Google account again hereand immediately start tracking your device. If you happen to have multiple phones and tablets, you can use the small drop down to find the one thats missing.
Once youve told the Device Manager to find your missing phone, itll start tracking and should find it within a few seconds. Itll provide the time it was located, the location, and the accuracy range. This will give you a damn good idea of where your phone is.
To make sure your personal data is safe and secure, you can use the "lock" button to quickly enable a lock screen password, even if you didnt have one enabled before. Once the password is set, you can also put a recovery message on the locks screensomething like "Thanks for finding my phone! Please call the number below." (Then put a number in the box below.)
This should, in theory, lock the device up behind the password you entered. The message will display in big letters at the top of the screen, with a large "Call Owner" button just below. If an honest person found your phone, hopefully theyll call you. If a thief snatched it, hopefully theyll know youre aware that the phone is missing and get freaked out. I wouldnt count on that, though.
After locking the device, you can also send a command to ring it, which can help you pinpoint its exact location if you just left it somewhere. It doesnt scream outit just plays the set ringtone at full volume for five minutes. If youre tracing back your steps to a location where you left it, you should probably wait until youre close enough before executing this command.
Lastly, if all hope is lost, you can completely wipe the device with the "erase" command. This will completely factory reset the device, wiping all of your personal data, pictures, music, and all other stored files. It will also try to wipe the SD card if your device has one, but theres a possibility (depending on Android version and manufacturer) that it may not be able to, so keep that in mind. Once the phone has been wiped, Android Device Manager will no longer work, so this is basically you saying goodbye to your phonethis is the point of no return.
#How_To_lock_it_from_another_Android
So maybe you dont have your computer handy, or you dont want to go back home just to find your missing phone. Thats understandable, and theres another solution: the Android Device Manager app . If you have a second Android phone or tablet with you, grab that bad boy and give the app a quick install.
Once youve got it loaded up, youll need to input your Google password to start location devices. The app works exactly like the website, so all of the instructions and details above are applicable here. You can ring, lock, and erase your device directly from the app with all the same options that the web offers. Boom.
#How_to_find_it_from_a_friends_Phone
So what happens if you dont have another Android device or your computer? Thats when it may seem like all hope is lost, but fret not, theres still an option. Grab a friends phone or tabletdoesnt matter if its Android, iOS, Windows Phone, or whatever else (just as long as its a smartphone).
Open the web browser and do a search for Android Device Manager. Open the first link, and sign in. Boom, youre in.
The only snag you may run into is if you haveTwo-Factor Authentication enabled on your Google account, which will require you to input a six-digit code before getting access to your account. The problem is that this usually relies on either an app (like Google Authenticator) or a text message to get you this code, and if your phone is missing
well, you see where this is going.
Thats why its always a good idea to keep some backup codes handy. Google provides these when you set up two-factor authentication in the first place, so print them out and keep them somewhere safedont wait until its too late! These codes could mean the difference between getting your phone back (or at least keeping prying eyes away from your personal data) and never seeing it again.
Once youre logged in, the Device Manager will work the same way as discussed above. Do your thing. Good luck.
Like everything else, Android Device Manager isnt without its limitations. For example, if your phone is stolen and you dont have a protected lock screen (shame on you!) and the thief has already performed a factory reset, youre out of luck. The phone is no longer associated with your Google Account at that point, so Google has no way of tracking it. Bummer.
If the phone happens to die before you can track it, or the thief turns it off, all hope isnt totally lostAndroid Device Manager will try to provide the last verified location. This will at least give you an idea of where you couldve lost it. You can also hope that whoever finds it will put it on charge for youthen youll be able to track it again. Or maybe theyll just call you. Thatd be neat too.
Finding out your phone is missing can be a gut-wrenching feeling, but Google has done an excellent job with Android Device Manager, as its a fully integrated option that takes the place of dozens of janky products that tried to achieve this goal before. So while it may not be any easier to realize that your handset is gone, at least you have solid hope of getting it back.
