How to Upgrade OS Blackberry using Desktop Manager - As a Blackberry user may we have experienced slow Blackberry Smartphone, hourglass merely due to an unstable OS or OS that needs to upgrade, or Smartphone in a state of Corrupt file or Nuked OS (just a flashing red LED light-blink but will not load to the menu). I wrote an article here about how Blackberry OS Updates.

Before we are to Blackberry OS Updates we need to prepare the equipment that is:

1. Computer, laptop or netbook or notebook.
2. An active internet connection (modem, wifi, lan, etc.)
3. Blackberry Smartphone congenital usb cable, usually a mini usb or micro usb.

Open the BlackBerry Desktop Software icon on the computer will appear like this.

if there is no software Click here to download.
Will appear like this ..

Fill in your full name and current email address, then click download. Download is complete go to the folder Download, Install Blackberry Deskop Manager on the computer.

Plug the usb cable from the computer to the Blackberry Smartphone with usb cable, choose Update. Here I use BB Bold 9000 because Davis BB 9300 is up to date.

Will appear after clicking Update Blackberry OS option and it looks like this.

Later there is a choice which OS version will be downloaded directly to the BlackBerry Smartphone.

Note: If the BlackBerry smartphone is turned off, error or nuked select the lowest OS version.

Follow the upgrade process to complete, not to cut off the internet connection, the battery must be fully charged also. If there is a failure in the upgrade process on the Blackberry Smartphone, Smartphone will not run normally, and start the upgrade process from the beginning again.

You do have to download all files above. Do not be surprised if the size is quite big but it will pay off when you manage to bring Android ICS to the desktop. Later you can even make an appearance on the Android desktop to your preference via the icon pack is available.

1) Hit Windows + R and type "explorer.exe"  like on image below instead of regedit.exe

2) In the text box below type: "explorer.exe"
3) click OK.

4) If your PC is start you are OK if not go to the step5.
5) Then close it and restart. 

6) Hold down the F8 key before the Windows logo appears. If the computer makes a complaining noise, tap the F8 key repeatedly instead of holding it down. 

7) If a Windows logo or “Windows starting” appears, wait until Windows loads. Then restart the computer and try pressing F8 again. 

8) Once you are successful, a menu will appear with a number of boot options. Use an arrow key to navigate to “Safe Mode” and press the Enter key.

9) When start in  “Safe Mode” Scan your pc for viruses

10) Scan your local C drive where OS is installed for errors

I had a square-face clock installed because I can tell the deifference between the hour hand and the minute hand; on the round-face clock, the two are almost the same size.
I got rid of the installed clock because ny stand-alone desk clock started working
OK when I figured out how to set it,
 
But I now want the gadget clock back.
How do I make it re-appear? The standard control panel option does not conain the square-face clock.

Can you install the Round face clock?
If so, the square face clock is one of the options.
Select the wrench icon.
then press the small arrow to go to 7 of 8.

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.

Active Window Fades to Desktop

Im running Windows 7 Professional on a Dell Vostro 3500 laptop.
 Ill be working in a window when the window unexpectedly fades out and the screen reverts to my desktop.
 This annoying problem happens frequently and does not seem dependent on which
application I am using at the time.
 It doesnt seem to be a power setting or a low battery issue, since the screen doesnt go dark - it just goes back to my desktop. 
Need suggestions for a fix, please.
