How To Choose What Laptop System To Get

How To Choose What Laptop System To Get

Basically there are only a few questions you need to ask.
1.Size

How big you need your laptop to be?
Keep in mind size is related to weight, the smaller the laptop the lighter it usually is.
<12.1>
13.1 inches (Mainstream Laptops)
14.1 inches (Mainstream Laptops)
15.1 inches (Mainstream Intensive Gaming Laptops)
16.1 inches (Desktop Replacement)
>16.1 inches (Desktop Replacement)

Usually if you need to move it around 14.1 -15.1 inches would be around the max for mobility.

2.Usage

Processor

Intel

For Intel Processor typically it is easily identified
Intel Core i (Processor Class Number) - (3 Digit SKU Number)(Alphabet 1)(Alphabet 2)

The Processor Class Number is either 3/5 or 7.
3 refers to the low end Processors
5 refers to the mainstream Processors
7 refers to the high end Processors
The 1st Digit SKU Number refers to the instruction set in the Processor.

Graphics (For Gaming GPU > CPU)

For occasional gaming get at least some decent graphics from Nvidia, ATi.
For Intel Graphics if you must at least go for 3150,4500MHD or the new Intel HD Graphics.
They have Video Codec Decoding Abilties for Adobe Flash 10.1.
For ATi any Radeon HD will do, DO NOT go for Radeon Xpress they are obselete.
For Nvidia, go for anything below 8000 Series. 7000 series are obselete.
Both Nvidia 7000 Series and Radeon Xpress do not support GPU computing and DirectX 10
Use Notebookcheck as a rough guide for gaming performance.
Class 3, Class 2, Class 1 are suitable for occasional gaming.

For more intensive gaming consider getting Class 2 and Class 1 Graphics however they are most available only on 14.1/15.1 inch and above laptops.
Reason being more powerful graphics requires more powerful fansink these contributes to size hence usually they can only be found on 14.1 inch and above systems.

RAM
I dont really bother as it is very easy and cheap to upgrade laptop RAM.
You get more cost saving upgrading RAM yourself than buying a high RAM laptop.

Harddisk
Size is of no concern as they come with at least 120GB and that is more than sufficient.

Edit:
With regards to how good a laptop is in terms of quality you have to look at the design layout.
1) Google the motherboard prints of the particular laptop
2) Heatsink size must be sufficiently large enough particularly for AMD Processor Laptops and those with Nvidia/ATi GPU, larger mass allows higher heat capacity so temperature will not be too high.
The GPU, CPU and Northbridge must not be too close to each other.

3) The capacitors must be of high quality

High Quality Capacitor
Lower Quality Capacitor

Googles 2015 Nexus phones Specs details and what they mean for the enterprise

Googles 2015 Nexus phones Specs details and what they mean for the enterprise

On Tuesday, September 29, Google officially unveiled the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. Heres what you need to know about the latest Android flagships.

dburke.jpg

Dave Burke presenting the new Nexus phones.

With the plethora of versions, options, and features available, its nearly impossible to pin down what phone provides the ultimate Android experience. Companies like Samsung, Motorola, and LG all have their own top-shelf offerings but, for Google itself, the template for the pure Android experience starts and ends with its Nexus line.

Beginning in 2010 with the release of the Nexus One, the Nexus line has been designed and developed by Google and manufactured by partners such as HTC, Motorola, Samsung, and LG. Although there are now Nexus tablets and media players, the phones have always been the focus.

"A Nexus is Android as we designed it," said Dave Burke, Googles vice president of engineering for Android.

On Tuesday, September 29, Google announced two new Nexus phones — the LG-made Nexus 5X and Huawei-made Nexus 6P. In addition, the company also announced two new Chromecasts. Here are the specs for the two new Nexus phones.

The Nexus 5X
5.2" Screen
Plastic design
Colors: Carbon black, Quartz white, Blue
Storage: 16GB, 32GB
Memory: 2 or 3GB RAM
Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor
2700 mAh battery
Front camera: 5MP, 1.55 micron pixels
Rear camera: 12.3 MP
Fingerprint scanner on back of phone
USB-C
Starting price: $379

The Nexus 6P
5.7" Screen
Metal unibody design
Colors: Aluminum, Graphite, Frost White
Storage: 32GB, 64GB, 128GB
Memory: 3GB RAM
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor
3450 mAh battery
Front camera: 8MP
Rear camera: 12 MP, 1.55 micron pixels
Fingerprint scanner on back of phone
USB-C
Starting price: $499

Both phones will launch with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the latest iteration of Googles mobile OS. The updates for Marshmallow will be available to the existing Nexus line before becoming generally available to other Android devices. Android 6.0 will roll out to existing devices, including the Nexus 5, 6, 7, 9, and the Nexus player next week.

In referencing the 6Ps camera, Burke called it the best camera that Google has put in a phone. The new camera has slow motion video capabilities and 4K resolution at normal rate.

An Android Sensor hub can wake up the device to low-power display and has four key features that help it power the new generation of Nexus phones.

Sensor fusion
Activity recognition
Gesture recognition
Low power

The latest line of Nexus phones also has fingerprint capabilities called Nexus Imprint. Its an added security feature that can benefit business users and those who want to use Android Pay. Additionally, the updated run time permissions could help with security in the enterprise as well.

Business travelers will undoubtedly enjoy the many new features that help extend the life of the battery. For starters, the large batteries in the device charge quickly and hold a charge for a long time. Additionally, the new feature Doze helps conserve power if the phone hasnt moved in a while. This is great if you accidentally forget to charge your phone while you sleep.

From the lock screen, users can tell how fast the phone is charging and approximately how long it will be until the phone is fully charged. Heads up notifications show up at the top of the screen and users can swipe up to dismiss, or down to engage — a very iOS like feature.

With Android 6.0, the phone begins to learn your app use patterns and will prioritize apps at a certain time based on how you interact with the app. It makes apps more easily available based on the time of day you normally open them, or if you normally open them in series. For example, if you normally open Instagram after Twitter, it will automatically recommend Instagram after you have opened Twitter.

One of the biggest features of Android M is the Now on Tap virtual assistant feature. Voice interactions from Now on Tap have been extended to Android developers and can be built into their apps, which could be helpful for internal apps.

Nexus 5X and 6P are available for preorder now in select countries and will ship in late October 2015. As usual, the phones will be unlocked without a contract. All Nexus preorders will come with a 90-day free subscription to Google Music, and all preorders come with $50 Play credit.

Despite the two new phones, its still not necessarily about the hardware for Google. The phones are simply a platform to showcase the new OS, said Boris Metodiev of 451 Research. The Nexus line is a baseline for what works with the latest and greatest Android features.

The two form factors show that Google wants to hold onto the high end market with devices like the Nexus 6P, while continuing to target the middle and lower end of the market with devices like the Nexus 5X.

"If there is any growth left in the smartphone market, it is more in the low-end and the [middle] of the market," Metodiev said. "The high end of the market is really saturated and the growth is not really there."

The release pattern for Nexus devices is something needed for Android device manufacturers who want to play in the enterprise. Gartners Ken Dulaney said that businesses are frustrated by the multi-step release process typical of Android devices where it moves from the open source pool, to chip manufacturers, to the OEM, and finally on to the carrier.

"Google needs to have at least an option like Apple does where there are devices that receive updates directly from Google with the stock Android image," Dulaney said. By offering Nexus device directly from Google, that is keeping the market stronger, he said.

In addition to the announcement of the new handsets, Google also announced a new protection plan called Nexus Protect. The plan gives each user an additional year of protection against manufacturers defects, as well as a two year protection against accidental damage. Claims can be made 24 hrs a day, and there is the possibility youll receive a replacement phone by the next business day.

Nexus Protect costs $69 for the Nexus 5X and $89 for Nexus 6P. Both are available on the new Google Fi network.

The most surprising announcement was a new tablet called the Pixel C. In this case, "C" stands for convertible. The convertible tablet attaches magnetically to a keyboard and is adjustable to different angles.

The Pixel C has a 10.2" screen and the keyboard attaches to the back of the tablet when you want it out of the way. Its a Bluetooth keyboard that has a small battery, and it is inductively charged by the tablet. It boasts a 2560x1800 resolution with 308 ppi. The Pixel C starts at $499 and keyboard is $149.

The introduction of the Pixel C further heats up the market for convertible tablets as Apple recently announced its iPad Pro to compete with the Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Still, despite the interesting and innovative things that Google is doing with Android devices, Metodiev believes that they will continue to deal with the same fragmentation problems they have dealt with in the past. Google will need to find a way to keep innovating, but get a handle on fragmentation as well.

Google also announced a new Google Play music family plan, updates to Google Photos, and two new Chromecast devices.

How to restore deleted messages Undelete Facebook Find what is removed

How to restore deleted messages Undelete Facebook Find what is removed

How to restore deleted messages Undelete Facebook Find what is removed

Created with the new applications today, there is now a possibility to find deleted messages on facebook to recover. You can find out how here in this article.

Introduction

Today there are many applications out to find deleted messages on facebook. Many people say that what they have lost forever lost in Facebook. If you believe that then you believe in a lie. For your information, you can now.

What people think of first?

For applications that, for some reason and Facebook features, the task of how deleted messages were filed impossible Facebook. So many people believe that if the Delete button, it can never be retrieved. Therefore, the people that this is not true. I do not blame them, because in reality, informed Facebook us that although we can really.

If you work this new feature?

You can disable this feature if you accidentally deleted messages drowsiness caused by an error or boredom. It can not be avoided, and we must not forget that we are only human. Another way to use this feature if you want to see the posts people are eliminated, but it can be a dirty secret that they publish a notice offensive that the true personality of a person or a case of "Frape" tells them to recover and enjoy reading.

So how do you find deleted messages on Facebook?

In fact, there are four options for deleted Facebook messages to search. Here are the two ways:

1. E-mail alerts

Every time there is someone or had written a message, a copy of your e-mail. Consequently, one can easily check, there is the message in case there had been cleaned in Facebook. If it does not appear, please check your spam or junk mail folder because sometimes thinks your e-mail address of the server that the statements of junk mail or spam, and automatically puts it in the appropriate folder.

If you are not in your Facebook or junk folder or spam folder, then you probably have not checked in the settings. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to activate it in the account settings: First, check to Account Settings and click on Accounts. Then, click Communications, and only for the articles and news from Facebook in order to transfer files to your e-mail.

2. Save the URL link of deleted message

If you post the URL link stored in the isolation mode or extension of a vision (which is unlikely), then held the place. It is interesting to note that Facebook does not delete your old messages and announcements, behind a hidden or invisible mode. Strange as it seems, no one seems to know except for them, not to eliminate the reason they (if youre embarrassing messages that have been removed do to me are tired, its still there).

3. Find it in your story

If you are used to clear the browser history (probably because someone would be ashamed to know which sites you have visited), then you could find in this way, deleted messages on Facebook, lose again. Try to find it in your browser history, if you want so desperately desperate search deleted messages on Facebook, although more than a week ago.

Facebook applications

In fact, there are new applications that Facebook messages are secreted. Its actually funny when you are lifted each item to see any other reason than the eyes. You can laugh, you laugh, and you can of eyebrows to read what you raise. These applications are available as add-ons are on Facebook and other sites also able to recover deleted facebook messages to find, even if the process is a bit difficult.

What are the advantages of this function

In fact, there are things that you will benefit from the use of this function. On the one hand, if a person is sensitive (constant dreamer) to things by mistake, it is then you probably want. Gone are the times that he is unconscious, the consequences of the click, because you can recover.

Another advantage of this feature is to know what we are eliminating others. Now you know how bad or how painful that the post be deleted. Hard to not laugh at jokes or post really, but people laugh, thinking that their secrets safe with them. Basically, the biggest advantage that in the end that has no place or mail its not about you, you can breathe easy one.

In view of the disadvantages of this function

That nothing will be forgotten. This is a big disadvantage, because if you get something permanently saved through Facebook messaging and e-mail address on your account. What is placed, you can remove any more, even the annoying messages. Another disadvantage is that you have privacy, because its plain to see, what you achieved even if the loss is removed. People can use this function and see who you are, you feel that you unzipped your pants unbuttoned with or sit.

"Frape" Prone

You know what a Frape? Frape, if someone hacks into your Facebook account and posts false or embarrassing things about you. After this function, something misspelled or embarrassed about themselves will never be removed. In short, whats done is done. And there are - you can not delete a scar, a memory that can not be forgotten.

Survey

If you feel that you can not delete Facebook messages to look for then you are wrong. With this function you can now have access to this privilege (or curse, if others have access to, and use it on your account). Simply put, he pros and cons are, but if used sparingly and, when used by older people, a great feature. To put it briefly, now you can find deleted messages on facebook.

If You Paid 500 for a Gene Test Would You Know What to Do With It BusinessWeek

If You Paid 500 for a Gene Test Would You Know What to Do With It BusinessWeek

The FDA questions three companies marketing DNA tests directly to consumers.
107918084

DNA4Life offers a $249 test to help customers understand whether their genes put them at risk of having bad reactions to more than 100 common medicines. Interleukin Genetics sells a $169 test that “may help you lose more weight by properly matching diet and exercise plans” to genetic profiles. And DNA-CardioCheck has suggested its test, at $450, is a "reliable method to determine whether or not you might be at risk for developing blood clots which might result in cardiovascular disease."

All three companies got letters from the Food and Drug Administration in early November suggesting they didn’t have the proper clearance to sell medical tests to consumers. It’s the latest sign that regulators are concerned about how companies market DNA tests for health insights, sometimes bypassing doctors entirely.

There’s good reason for that worry: For most people, the genetic analysis available today doesn’t provide much meaningful health information at all.

DNA tests can reliably establish family ties, like paternity tests, or reveal a person’s ethnic heritage. They can also tell whether people are at risk for certain rare diseases like cystic fibrosis that are directly linked to genetic mutations, or for passing the risk on to their children. But when it comes to information relevant to people’s health, especially about common conditions like heart disease or diabetes, the value of genetics becomes much murkier.

"Right now, almost all of this is premature and not terribly useful to individuals,” said George Annas, a Boston University bioethics professor and co-author of Genomic Messages, a book about how genetics is changing medicine. “It’s complicated, and these testing companies are trying to make it appear that it’s much more simplistic so they can sell you a product."

Companies see a gold mine in turning genetic data into information people can use to stay healthy or battle illness. A few years ago, Booz Allen Hamilton estimated that there were nearly 3,000 tests available; market researcher Technavio says the industry is growing by close to 10 percent a year. Many of these tests are available only through health-care providers.

The FDA didn’t tell the three companies to stop selling their tests. But the agency pointed out that it considers them medical devices that need regulatory clearance, and asked for justifications if the companies believe the clearance isn’t necessary. "The FDA actively regulates genetic tests sold directly to consumers to make sure they are safe and do what they claim to do," spokeswoman Jennifer Dooren said in an e-mail. "Without FDA oversight, the safety and efficacy of these tests have not been determined and could potentially lead to patient harm."

DNA4Life and DNA-CardioCheck didn’t respond to requests for comment. Mark Carbeau, chief executive of Interleukin Genetics, said the company’s main product, a test that predicts the risk of gum disease, is sold primarily through dentists. Other products "can be purchased by a consumer, though a medical professional needs to be involved,” Carbeau said. "We think, properly done, genetic tests offer real value to the health-care community, and we’re certainly supportive of the FDA’s efforts to protect the public and provide guidance.”

The FDA has cracked down on testing companies marketing straight to the public before. In late 2013, it ordered 23andMe to stop selling its personal genome analysis. This past February, the agency approved 23andMe’s test for a limited use, to detect whether people carry the gene for Bloom syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. The company has since added other approved uses to determine whether people carry mutations that could be passed down to their children.

One of the risks of making genetic tests available directly to consumers is that people may confuse diseases caused by complex risk factors with those caused by a single genetic abnormality. While a single gene mutation can cause cystic fibrosis, “for things like cardiovascular disease that’s just not true," said Michael Christman, CEO of the Coriell Institute, a Camden (N.J.) research center focused on genetic medicine.

Unlike with some rare hereditary conditions, many pieces of a person’s DNA may influence his or her risk for heart disease, cancer, or diabetes, and they’re not all well understood. And genetics are only one risk factor, along with environmental exposures and lifestyle, that helps determine whether someone will get a disease.

In an ideal world, genetic tests would go through physicians or other experts capable of interpreting results, Christman said. “People joke there’s the $1,000 genome followed by the $1 million interpretation,” he said. "The interpretation is complicated, and it needs to be done very well.

Christman said the greatest potential for genetic medicine right now is using DNA profiles to determine how people might react to different drugs or doses, a field called pharmacogenomics. More than 100 drugs have information on their labels about how people with certain genetic markers may respond differently.

The challenge ahead for the FDA is policing the evolving market for genetic testing. "They’re trying to figure out How do we help consumers and providers that don’t work in genetics all the time to distinguish what tests are useful and what aren’t? " said Joy Larsen Haidle, president of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. "What got some of the labs into trouble before with the FDA was you could send a sample of saliva to a couple of different labs and you would get very different results to the same question."
